Bagpiping and Drumming Beginner Course - Winter 2017
Students will learn the basics of Highland bagpiping or pipe band snare drumming. This will include both the physical skills necessary to begin playing the instrument using practice equipment along with a fundamental introduction to reading music. By the end of the course, diligent students should be able to play their very first piece of music - a "tune" for pipers or a "score" for drummers. The course provides the foundations necessary to carry on learning at increasing ability levels.
COURSE LOCATION
All classes will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest Ave, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.
