A partnership between Andrew Hoinacki, of AR2 Drumming Studio, and Tony Karcz, of Piper Tony, has resulted in the creation of a new education center serving Chicago's western suburbs. We are full-time musicians dedicated to enhancing and sharing our craft and are excited to bring this learning opportunity to a new audience. We are accomplished players and experienced instructors in Highland bagpiping and pipe band drumming. While most of our day is spent teaching both lessons and virtual classes via the Internet, there is nothing quite like a hands-on classroom to ensure every aspect of the beginner's journey is built properly from the very start. Sound fundamental skill development is the key to long-term growth as a piper or drummer and can unlock a lifelong joy of producing one of the world's most recognizable forms of cultural music!

Our very first beginners course for pipers and drummers starts on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Grace Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn.Learn more and enroll by January 8th.

If you're interested in dancing, our friends the Thistle and Heather Highland Dancers also have lessons at this location on Monday evenings.
